DLMA Fest Poster Final8m

The David Lynch Masters in Film Program (DLMFA) is pleased to announce the Outer Dimensions Film Series – a new bi-weekly film salon that will showcase indie/alternative features, shorts, and trailers from the DLMFA family as well as a wide range of other film artists. The bi-weekly salons are for all cinema lovers in the community who want to get together twice a month to watch and discuss movies. Films from DLMFA guest speakers and contributors such as producer Bill Borden (Mission Impossible III, High School Musical, Kung Fu Hustle, The Mermaid) will also be featured.

The Outer Dimensions Film Series is kicking off with a weekend of films at The Orpheum Theater on March 4th, 5th, and 6th. Friday, March 4th will present shorts and trailers created by our current DLMFA students. These will include documentary, drama and experimental projects. Screening on Saturday, March 5th, will be thesis trailers, behind-the-scenes videos, and thesis films from DLMFA  alumni. The final evening of the weekend, Sunday, March 6th, will present a documentary short along with a hybrid drama/documentary/magical reality feature from DLMFA Program Director, Michael W. Barnard. We welcome all attendees of the film weekend and bi-weekly salons to stay after the film viewings to discuss the films and speak with the filmmakers.

The Outer Dimensions Film Series is sponsored by DLMFA Co-Founder and Executive Director Joanna Plafsky, with all proceeds going to support DLMFA students and programs.

Please join us the weekend of March 4-6 at The Orpheum Theater as we share our passion for films!

General admission tickets will be $7 per night, or $15 for the entire weekend. Student prices are $5 per night, or $12 for the entire weekend (with valid student ID). Tickets will be sold at the door.
