Do you want to become a computer science whiz without the stress typical of a college degree? Our BS program will prepare you with all of the knowledge you need for a career in computer science while supporting your personal and creative growth with daily meditation, a healthy routine, and a caring community.
What you’ll do in our program:

- Focus on one full-time course per month and enjoy a balanced daily routine that sustains a high level of academic performance
- Dissolve the stress that blocks your creativity and experience inner peace through regular practice of the Transcendental Meditation® technique.
- Get personal guidance from caring, experienced faculty who constructively support your personal and academic growth
Today’s society is increasingly information-based. Fundamental knowledge of how computers and computing systems work is a vital part of modern life and a universal skill that can be applied to a variety of careers and fields.
Our computer science program will prepare you for success by providing comprehensive knowledge of the discipline and teaching you how think clearly, precisely, and creatively.
Do more with less stress
Instead of balancing multiple classes, exams, and homework assignments, you’ll be focusing on one topic at a time in our block system.
In the block system, you’ll be taking only one full time-course per month, giving you the time you need to fully absorb the knowledge and focus on what you’re learning.
Our small class sizes and student-faculty ratio mean that you’ll have the time you need to ask questions, participate in discussions, and spend one-on-one time with your teachers, who are experts in the field.

Vikas Narula, a 1994 graduate of our BS in Computer Science, is the owner and founder of Keyhubs, a Minneapolis-based management software and consulting firm that uncovers a company’s “hidden organization” — the informal network of relationships between workers that shows how work actually gets done.
“To me, entrepreneurship is more than about making money,” says Vikas, “It’s really a spiritual journey, a journey of self-discovery and growth. MUM taught me that. MUM gave me a perspective on life that helped me see things beyond the material. It helped me understand what matters most.”
