I came to Maharishi International University because of the amazing community. I wanted to study amongst people who were actively developing themselves from the inside out. I knew that if I wanted to uncover more of my potential, I needed to be in an environment where others were striving to do the same.
Stress free, fun, and transformative. MIU completely defies the saying “no pain, no gain.” I have learned so many new skills here while simultaneously increasing my happiness, confidence, and success.
Wow, so many! I would have to say my courses in Photography, Graphic Design and Web Design. These classes empowered me so much because I was able to engage the Fairfield Community in my projects almost immediately. These experiences enabled me to see the value of what I was learning and how it translated into a professional career.
I want to experience the professional world through freelancing, working for a business or a non-profit. I also would like to further develop my painting, music and yoga practice. Additionally, I hope to travel, contribute to humanitarian projects and learn Spanish.
I would tell them that I really recommend this discipline because it is so versatile and sought after in this technical age. It also is a great way to use your creativity to help promote causes, businesses, and ideas that you believe in. I know that no matter what I end up doing, I will always be using my media and communications degree to help others and share my passion with the world.
