The registration fee is $35, which partially covers our costs for the following:

  • Lodging in our Visitors Center (single rooms for everyone)
  • Organic vegetarian meals in our dining hall
  • Transportation and admission to all events

Are travel reimbursements available? >

Yes. U.S. prospective students with financial need can apply for a travel reimbursement of up to $350. To apply for this support, first register for a Visitors Weekend. Then on the follow-up form you’ll have the opportunity to request a travel reimbursement. Prospective students receiving travel reimbursements are expected to attend all events.

Do I need to sign up in advance? >

Yes, online registration closes at 4:00 PM Central Time the Monday before the Visitors Weekend. After that you can still sign up by calling our Visitors Weekend staff at 641-470-1321.

What if I can’t come for the full weekend? >

This is fine. Simply inform the Admissions team when you will need to arrive and depart from the weekend, and they will accommodate as needed. Travel reimbursements are still available for prospective students with financial need who are not able to attend the full weekend.

How often do Visitors Weekends take place? >

The weekends are held almost every month — at least 10 months out of the year. Feel free to ask the Admissions team for dates further into the future so you can plan ahead of time.
