Most people in our community recognize Prana Miller for being a joyful, kind and charismatic person. However, what some may not know about him is that he’s not just an awesome person, he’s also an incredibly knowledgeable and skilled renewable energy specialist.

Prana recently graduated from the Sustainable Living department’s undergraduate program where he focused on studying renewable energy systems. Since graduating, Prana has been a member of Green Iowa AmeriCorps and is an active member at the SLC SEED (Sustainable Education and Enterprise Development) Center in Abundance Eco-village, right here in Fairfield, IA.

Showing off their 2,000 watt energy generation systems and energy storage system, the video below has Prana describe how simple off-grid living can be, and also points out how it can be made to be easier, more productive, and more comfortable for off-grid living all-year round.
