Overview

Our true nature is happiness and balance, according to Maharishi AyurVeda. This 6-lesson introduction to Maharishi AyurVeda is a compact, but very rich course that explains in detail how the individual is composed of certain constituents, named doshas, that determine ones mind-body type. There follows an explanation of how imbalances occur in the physiology, the problems these imbalances create and how they may be eliminated and avoided in the future.

Health is the natural state of the individual, Maharishi AyurVeda declares, and this course outlines ways in which the individual, through diet, activity and other programs can move toward balance, health and happiness.

Course Structure

This course consists of six lessons and additional materials. The course is self-paced and all course materials are available on-demand online. In this six lesson online course you will learn about:

  • Natural and Preventative Health approaches from Ayurveda
  • The three Principles that Govern the Body
  • A Diet to Maintain Balance
  • Digestion and Detox
  • Exercise that Is Natural for Us
  • Prevention of Disease: A Continuous Program for Health

Among many other valuable things, the course contains instructions for preparing herbal mixtures for use in creating and maintaining balance; and suggestions for a daily routine that promotes good health.

There will be periodic live webinars during which students enrolled in this course may ask questions of the Maharishi AyurVedic experts.
