MIU’s College of Business Administration was named one of the top 50 “Best Value” bachelor’s degree programs in America. The ranking was determined by Best Value Schools, a company that “helps students find schools and degree programs that can provide the most available financial aid and assistance, the greatest support and service, the highest return on investment, and the best overall value.”

“For some people, business is about more than understanding finance and the art of negotiation,” Iris Stone of Best Value Schools explains. “Business can also be about growth and leadership, and the best managers have an introspective side that constantly push themselves toward self-improvement. Maharishi [University of Management] has developed a reputation for its top business administration degree because of its ‘Technologies of Consciousness.’ You will still study the basics of accounting, production, and marketing at Maharishi [University of Management], but you will also spend time developing your creativity, problem-solving abilities, stability, flexibility, communication skills, and dynamism in the workplace. MIU also values the cultivation of individual character, and so coursework also focuses on integrity and leadership and working harmoniously with others.”

The best value status was determined through analysis of data from the National Center for Education Statistics’ College Navigator. The top 50 most affordable, competitive, small schools were selected. Maharishi International University’s College of Business is listed as number 49 and is noted for its “cultivation of individual character.”
