A new entry for the online MS in Maharishi AyurVeda and Integrative Medicine coming in August, 2018. This three-year program is designed for those who want to become experts in natural, holistic health care, and, at the same time, unfold their inner potential.

The major focus of this program is on the physiology, pathology, diagnosis, and treatment of disorders from the perspective of Maharishi AyurVeda. The curriculum is also integrative because it includes coursework in other natural systems as well as modern medical knowledge. Many lessons include instruction from both a Maharishi AyurVeda expert and an allopathic doctor.

The study of Ayurveda, an ancient health practice from India, is prevention-oriented and time-tested. Maharishi’s revival of Ayurveda brings increased awareness to the connection between mind and body.

You will know how to assess the health of clients through an Ayurvedic health history, observation, and other modalities. You will understand the mind/body connection intimately, and will have the technologies and skills to greatly enhance this essential connection.”

According to Dr. Morehead, “To become a Maharishi AyurVeda Practitioner means to know how to prevent imbalance from occurring, how to restore balance when imbalance arises, and how to inspire your clients to live in tune with their own nature.”

“I deeply appreciate the knowledge I am gaining in the online this program. Since Maharishi AyurVeda is the most individualized medical science, this master’s program teaches us how to assess a person’s constitution so we can prescribe highly personalized wellness modalities. Our exposure to a multitude of case studies during the program further develops our understanding of the uniqueness of individual health. This program is perfect for people who want to learn a preventive system of complete health knowledge.” – Shellie Lackman

“I love this knowledge. I plan to practice Maharishi AyurVeda when I graduate in a year. I’d like to help professional athletes extend their careers by preventing and curing sports injuries. Our primary professor, Dr. Paul Morehead, tells us we are learning a breadth of knowledge that hardly anyone outside of India, the source of Ayurveda, knows.” – Rick Dunstan
