Local TV Interview with Dr. Thimmaiah, Director of ROAP

MIU’s new Regenerative Organic Agriculture Program (ROAP) gets its face on the local news! This new program is designed to put classroom knowledge to work in the field. Students study through the winter and, in spring, hit the dirt farming MIU’s 26-acre farm close to campus.

Dr. Thimmaiah created this set of courses with the intention of providing access to the knowledge, skills, and experience necessary to farm organically in a way that regenerates the soil.
