The Intensive English Program (IEP) at MUM prepares international students to take their place alongside native speakers in MUM’s academic program courses and for professional achievement in an English-speaking career after graduation.
As part of the admissions process, all international students must submit official English proficiency test scores (either TOEFL or IELTS) administered within the previous two years. Students from Canada, the U.K., Australia or New Zealand are exempt from this requirement. Please click here for information on minimum test scores required for admission and other admission requirements.
Once students are admitted to the University, those with scores lower than the thresholds listed below will be required to begin their studies at MUM in the IEP to be eligible to enroll in regular academic classes.
Students with these scores must complete the Intensive English Program
For students pursuing undergraduate study:
For students pursuing a graduate degree:
Students with scores higher than those listed above on any one of these tests will not need to enroll in the IEP and may take academic credit classes immediately upon arrival.
