Discovering the Eternal Knowledge of Integrated Life in Lord Kṛishṇa’s Timeless Message to Arjuna on the Battlefield
The Bhagavad-Gītā is “the glorious dialogue between Lord Kṛishṇa — the Nitya Apaurusheya, unmanifest reality; the expression of Total Knowledge; Gyān Shakti; the power of the silence of Ātmā; and Arjuna — Kriyā Shakti, the power of the dynamism of Ātmā.” —Maharishi
For many years we have enjoyed the first six chapters of Maharishi’s commentary on the Bhagavad-Gītā, while the commentaries on the later chapters have been quietly waiting. Now Professor Nader is bringing out Chapter Seven in this beautiful videotaped course which consists of:
- Professor Nader’s overview of Maharishi’s commentary on the first six chapters of the Bhagavad-Gītā
- A verse-by-verse examination of Maharishi’s commentary on Chapter Seven
The study of each verse consists of:
- A recitation by Maharishi Vedic Pandits
- A reading of the verse and commentary
- Professor Nader’s comments and clarifications
- Questions from the audience
The first six chapters of Maharishi’s commentary reveal the theoretical and practical wisdom of Anoranīyān: the transcendent Reality lies beyond the subtlest level of creation, and is the inner Self of every individual.
Chapter Seven describes how this transcendent Reality also lies beyond Mahato-Mahīyān, the largest in creation. It analyzes Truth from the point of view of manifest life.
The prerequisite for this course is the TM-Sidhis course; or instruction in Transcendental Meditation® plus completion of the Science of Creative Intelligence course or equivalent. Also, all course participants are expected to have already read this book, Maharishi Mahesh Yogi on the Bhagavad-Gita: A New Translation and Commentary, Chapters 1-6.
The Bhagavad-Gītā presents the eternal knowledge of integrated life. It presents the wisdom of living life in fulfillment. It brings to light the wisdom of the Absolute for the evolution of man at any time and in any place. It provides a technique whereby the life of the individual is naturally aligned with Cosmic Life — Natural Law — the Will of God; whereby the individual enjoys the support of all the Laws of Nature and lives life in harmony and peace. — Maharishi Mahesh Yogi
