Executive Director of the United Nations Association for the USA Speaks at MUM

In honor of the United Nation’s 70th Anniversary, the MIU College of Business Administration hosted the executive director of the United Nations Association for the USA, Chris Whatley.

Mr. Whatley gave MIU students a presentation on the history and duties of the UNA.

After giving a presentation on Climate Change and the preventative steps that the UNA are taking, Chris Whatley led a panel discussion. Panelists included: the dean of MIU’s College of Business Administration, Dr. Scott Herriott; Fairfield’s mayor, Ed Malloy; the Executive Director of Harvard’s Environmental Economics Program, Rob Stowe; and environmental and Climate Change activist, Miriam Kashia.
