EnvironmentalScience.org has released its first annual Top Environmental Science Schools rankings — and we are excited to announce that Maharishi University of Management has been ranked #4 on their list. The rankings are based on published surveys, student data, and other school and career data collected through several sources, including The Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS) and National Center for Education Statistics (NCES). “Our school has one of the higher percentages of its students who want to make a career in sustainability. That reflects very positively on the environmental awareness of the school as a whole.” – David Fisher, Chair of the Sustainable Living Department and Director of the MA program in Sustainable Living Maharishi University of Management is located in Fairfield, Iowa. The Sustainable Living undergraduate and Master's programs teach students about the impact humans have on the planet through a transdisciplinary, project-based approach to higher education. Five tracks are available through the BA program: Fundamentals of Sustainability, Renewable Energy, Agriculture and Food, Policy & Social Change, and Sustainability and the Built Environment. The MA program is based around Deep Sustainability, Advanced Ecological Design, Cultural Competence, and Holistic Community Development. Additionally, the Sustainable Living department conducts classes in a net zero energy environment that is student managed.

Hi there, [caption id="attachment_23739" align="alignleft" width="150"]Brand AmBass Brand AmBass[/caption]

This is my first post as the newly hired Brand Ambassador (or as I like to call it, Brand Ambass) for the Media and Communications department, so please be nice to me in the comment section, if any.

I have some exciting news, Spring is around the corner.

But more importantly, the David Lynch Masters Film students are gearing up to shoot their projects, some of them even starting production this month. I've been privy to some sneak peek scripts and what I can tell you is … I want to see these films made soon.

Actually now. Actually yesterday. Lets just say it’s hard to contain the excitement.

I've been meeting these students and hearing their plans and now I wish I could help out all their projects and contribute to their campaigns. But unfortunately I'm only one person, so this is where you come in.

We've collected all of the films’ information and put it here in one place, for you to get in on the action and check out the projects. The crowdfunding pages indicated below are a great way to learn about each project, the filmmakers and their live updates. Some M.A. student films are not yet included, I will be posting the crowdfunding pages as soon as they are live. (Click the film titles to learn more).
