Yes, you need to register online at least 8 days in advance (by 2:00 p.m. Central Time) of the Visitors Weekend you wish to attend. Call the Admissions Office at 800-369-6480 or 641-472-1110 if you wish to come on shorter notice — these requests will be considered on a space-available basis.
Yes, there is a charge of $60 to partially cover our costs. Lodging and meals are provided by MUM for the Weekend.
Yes, meals include Friday dinner, all three meals on Saturday and Sunday, and breakfast and lunch on Monday. The University serves organic vegetarian meals.
Yes, we provide lodging at MUM’s Visitor Center Residence Hall to most prospective students and their parents. There is no charge for lodging and meals during our Visitors Weekends.
Yes. Travel scholarships are available for U.S. prospective students with financial need. If you wish to apply for this support, complete the online Travel Scholarship Request Form before the Visitors Weekend.
Yes, many opportunities. They’ll be joining you at meals and social events, and there will also be Q&A sessions with MUM students.
For a refund of your Visitors Weekend fee, cancel by 5:00 p.m. CST on the Wednesday before your Visitors Weekend begins.

In this program you will participate in the creation of an original Web-TV Series, working alongside fellow students and industry professionals. This unique opportunity is being made available to a select number of students who will work together to write, produce, edit, and distribute the series. Every student will work in different capacities throughout the course of the production.
