Yes, you need to register online at least 8 days in advance (by 2:00 p.m. Central Time) of the Visitors Weekend you wish to attend. Call the Admissions Office at 641-209-7040 or 641-209-6620 if you wish to come on shorter notice — these requests will be considered on a space-available basis.
Yes, there is a charge of $35 to partially cover our costs. Lodging, meals, and shuttle service are provided by MUM for the Weekend.
Yes, meals include Friday dinner, all three meals on Saturday and Sunday, and breakfast and lunch on Monday. The University serves organic vegetarian meals.
Yes, we provide lodging at MUM’s Visitor Center Residence Hall to most prospective students and their parents. There is no charge for lodging and meals during our Visitors Weekends.
Yes. Travel reimbursement is available for U.S. prospective students with financial need. If you wish to apply for this support, complete the Travel Reimbursement Form before the Visitors Weekend.
Yes, many opportunities. They’ll be joining you at meals and social events, and there will also be Q&A sessions with MUM students.
For a refund of your Visitors Weekend fee, cancel by 5:00 p.m. CST on the Wednesday before your Visitors Weekend begins.
