Have you finished your BFA degree but don’t feel like you’re quite ready for graduate school? In Maharishi University of Management’s Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Art program, you’ll embark on an in-depth, two-semester exploration into your artistic style and your inner self and emerge as a professional, well-rounded candidate suited for any MFA program.
In our Post-Bac certificate program, you will:
At MUM, students learn more with less stress through the block system.
In the block system, you’ll be taking only one full time-course per month. When you take studio classes, you’ll be in the studio creating art every day without the distraction of other courses.
You’ll also enjoy a healthy routine, single-living dorm rooms, and organic vegetarian meals.
MUM’s class schedule incorporates daily practice of Transcendental Meditation , which has been proven to reduce stress, enhance clarity of mind, and improve overall health.
Our students often report that regular meditation practice helps them to be more creative and express their artistic ideas with ease.
Whether you’re planning to apply for an MFA or just want to enhance your own skills, you’ll get the time and support that you need to find your artistic voice and create a body of work in your own personal studio. Our faculty will also teach you how to write great artist’s statements, submit applications, professionally critique art, and other skills vital to your success as a professional artist.

Every student will work in different capacities throughout the course of the production.
