||One of the goals of MUM is to develop the full potential of creative intelligence of every student. A large number of scientific research studies on the Transcendental Meditation® and TM-Sidhi® programs indicates an influence on brain physiology in the direction of greater integration, coherence and refinement.
Because alcohol consumption and drug abuse are counterproductive to the neurophysiological functioning and behavior produced by the TM and TM-Sidhi programs, the University has a stringent policy on alcohol and non-prescribed drug use. For the policy, including standards of conduct, legal and University sanctions for violation of law and policy, and summary of health risks from alcohol and drug use, please click here.
Students seeking assistance with substance abuse issues are strongly encouraged to visit privately with MUM’s Director of Student Support Services, Campus Nurse, or any other member of our Student Life team. We will direct you to the appropriate resources. Local resources include the following services (listed below). They are not affiliated with MUM, but are listed on this web page as a convenience for MUM students. Being listed does not imply that MUM is endorsing them, and it is up to the student to decide whether to participate in any one of them.
