Dancing at the Grad Ball

On May 16th, MIU students dressed to impress for the 2015 Graduation Ball.

The Grad Ball is an annual MIU event that celebrates the year’s graduating class. It is held in the Arts and Convention Center (the same space that hosts the EcoJam fashion show) and features music, dancing, food, a photobooth, and more. This year’s event was catered by Cafe Dodici, a much-beloved Italian restaurant located in Washington, IA known especially for their chocolate-covered strawberries. Live music was provided for the first hour by the David Leffer Quartet. Afterwards, DJs took over and had the whole room dancing. The party started at eight and raged on until midnight,

Local photographer Cody Weber was present for the first two hours of the event and snagged some pictures of people dancing, eating, talking, and more. Pictures from the photobooth are on their way from the Student Activities department. We will provide a link as soon as they are available. Until then, enjoy the pictures below!
