FAQ
Do I need to sign up in advance?
Yes! This will enable us to make all the arrangements for meals, lodging, etc.
Is there a registration fee?
There is a nominal charge of $10 for prospective students and parents to partially cover our costs for each visitor.
Are all meals included?
Yes, meals include Friday dinner, all three meals on Saturday and Sunday, and breakfast and lunch on Monday. The University serves organic vegetarian meals.
Is lodging provided?
Prospective students and their parents receive free lodging at the Fairfield Super 8 or Best Western at our expense. Due to increasing student enrollments at the University, campus housing is not available for visitors.
Are travel scholarships available?
Yes, U.S. prospective students with financial need can request a travel scholarship of up to $350 to attend a Visitors Weekend. Call us at 800-369-6480 for details. The David Lynch Foundation provides the funding for travel scholarships.
Will I have the opportunity to meet MUM students?
Yes, many opportunities. They’ll be joining you at meals and social events, and there will also be Q&A sessions with MUM students.
What is the cancellation policy?
If you are unable to come after registering, please cancel by noon (Central time) on the Wednesday before your Visitors Weekend begins.
