The Mailroom is closed on Sundays, national holidays and on the Saturdays of the break between blocks.

Mail for everyone at the University is sorted here. Letters are then taken to the student mailboxes in the Student Union. Packages are kept in the Mailroom and the recipient is notified to pick it up. Stamps are available here as well as postal services such as weighing and shipping letters or packages.

Student Mailboxes

Mail is not delivered to student mailboxes on national holidays and on the Saturdays of the break between blocks.

Your mail will be delivered to the boxes in the Student Union Lobby by lunch hour Monday through Saturday. If you receive a package or special delivery letter, a note will be placed in your mailbox to notify you to pick it up at the Mailroom in Verrill Hall during the hours listed above.

Getting a Mailbox

A mailbox will be assigned to you when you register. You may share this box with another student. When picking up your mail, please be careful to take only mail that is addressed to you, and to leave other mail in the box. Sometimes it happens that mail has been placed in the wrong box. If you know that the mail does not belong to you or to your “Mailbox Buddy”, please return it to intracampus mail. Do not throw any mail away. Mail must be picked up at least twice a week, or it is forwarded or returned to the sender.

Mail to you should be addressed as follows:

• Your name
• Your mailbox number
• Maharishi University of Management

• U.S.A.

If you need a street address for the delivery of packages, use 1000 N. 4th Street

Do not use “P.O. Box” or even the word “box” in your address. If you do, your mail will be sent to the Fairfield Post Office and may be delayed in reaching you.
