Room changes
A student may request a room change. Room Change Request forms are available at the Housing Office. Complete and return the form to the Housing Office, and allow a week for approval. When the room change is approved, return the old door card, receive the new one, and move into the new room.
Once a new room has been assigned, students must:
- vacate the old room within 72 hours
- clean and vacuum the old room
- complete a room inventory form for each room, the old and the new, and hand it in to the Resident Advisor
- return the old room key to the Locksmith
Students who move without prior approval will be charged and must move back to the original room.
Bedding and Linen
U.S. students provide their own bedding and linen, pillows, and towels. International students will find bedding and linen, pillows, and towels in their rooms upon arrival. These linens must be returned to the Housing Office at the end of the school year or when the student leaves the University.
Door Cards
Door cards issued by the Housing Office must be visibly posted on doors at all times. There is a charge for failure to post the door card. Door cards which have been altered are unauthorized and are subject to a charge.
