The faculty, through the quality of life Disciplinary Procedures administered by the Student Affairs Council, reserves the right to require the withdrawal or dismissal of any student who the faculty believes does not have a sincere commitment to the educational opportunities provided by the University, or whose conduct is not in keeping with the general goals and welfare of the University. Whether a student’s performance is considered satisfactory, either for purposes of continuing as a student or for graduation, depends not only on grades, but also on other appraisals by the faculty assessing whether the student is meeting the standards of excellence and holistic development.
