Tuition & Financial Aid

After successful completion of Ph.D. coursework and successful completion of a qualifying exam, Ph.D. students achieve Candidate status. The program is designed so that this status can generally be achieved in two years. Candidate tuition is reduced by 50%. After acceptance of a dissertation proposal, a Ph.D. student achieves Researcher status; Researcher tuition is reduced by 75% of original tuition.

I understand that the Ph.D. in Management is designed so that coursework and successful completion of a qualifying exam can generally be achieved in two years, and that the following budget description is for one academic year.

$31,750	Total yearly charges (tuition, room & board, health insurance, fees)
$13,240	Typical on-campus financial aid offered by the University (per year)
$18,510	minimum on-campus estimated payment to the University (per year)
$2,000	Personal expenses, books and supplies, emergency expense (per year)
$20,510	Typical amount I must bring per year (not including the cost of learning the Transcendental Meditation technique)
A $6,000 working assistantship covering housing and meals may also be available for selected Ph.D. students.

This program includes the study of subjects in the light of a science of consciousness — the Science of Creative Intelligence — and the daily practice of the Transcendental Meditation technique, as described in the Admission Requirements page and in more detail in the Transcendental Meditation page.
