Students enrolled in MUM Distance Degree Programs have password access to electronic library resources from MUM, including:
- EBSCOhost® — Covers a broad range of full text and bibliographic databases for academic and other users, and includes Academic Search Premier™ and Business Source® Premier™
- Business Source® Premier is the industry's most popular business research database, and it includes the full text for more than 2,300 journals. Business Source Premier provides full text back to 1886, and searchable cited references back to 1998. It also includes company profiles, country reports, industry reports, market research reports, SWOT Analyses.
- NetAdvantage is Standard & Poor's information source for the student on markets and the economy. Includes data and analysis of industries, companies, stocks, bonds, mutual funds, indexes, and current news. It contains the following S&P publications: Bond Guide Mutual Fund Reports, Corporation Records The Outlook, Dividend Record Register of Corporations, Earnings Guide, Stock Guide, Industry Surveys Stock Reports.
- OCLC FirstSearch is a comprehensive reference service with a rich collection of databases supporting research in a wide range of subject areas. It includes bibliographic and full-text databases in addition to ready-reference tools such as directories, almanacs and encyclopedias. At the heart of FirstSearch is WorldCat®, containing more than 125 million records representing over 1.3 billion holding locations in libraries worldwide. WorldCat adds value to databases in FirstSearch by linking citations to holdings that helps users find these materials in their own libraries and through the WorldCat Resource Sharing service.
- Elsevier's ScienceDirect® online health and life sciences journal collection (1995–2009) includes 1190 high quality full text environmental and medical journals and reference works.
- LEXIS®-NEXIS® Academic Universe provides access to over 6,000 news, business, and legal sources. The outstanding news coverage includes deep backfiles and up-to-the-minute stories in national and regional newspapers, wire services, broadcast transcripts, international news, and non-English language sources. This product also provides access to the renowned Shepard's Citations® service for all federal and states court cases back to 1789.
- netLibraryTM — over 9000 full-text electronic academic/professional books (eBooks) and 2300 public-domain eBooks online
Academic Search™ Premier contains indexing and abstracts for more than 8,300 journals, with full text for more than 4,500 of those titles. PDF backfiles to 1975 or further are available for well over one hundred journals, and searchable cited references are provided for more than 1,000 titles. Academic Search Premier contains unmatched full text coverage in biology, chemistry, engineering, physics, psychology, religion & theology, etc. Academic Search Premier also contains: author affiliations, author e-mail addresses, author supplied abstracts, author supplied keywords, native PDFs, searchable cited references.
