International Graduate Students
What percentage of graduate students receives financial aid?
Over 90% of our students in full-day programs receive some form of financial aid.
How do I know if I will qualify for financial aid?
If your total yearly income (including your spouse’s, if you are married) will be less than US$40,000 while you are a student, there is an excellent chance you will qualify for substantial financial aid — scholarships and loans — while attending our university. International students who have a U.S. citizen or permanent resident as co-signer can often borrow alternative loans.
How do I receive this financial aid?
- Fill out our International Financial Aid Application as soon as possible.
- When we receive your application, we will determine your eligibility for all types of financial aid.
- We offer a substantial Trustees scholarship program that is supported by contributions from alumni and friends of the University. Scholarships, loans, and other aid based on financial need will be automatically packaged into your award based on your financial aid application results.
Where else can I go to look for financial aid?
- You may also apply for free aid through one of the free on-line scholarship search services.
- Please look into all the forms of financial aid available in your country for study in the U.S. at accredited universities.
- Low-interest, long-term alternative student loans are available if you have a U.S. citizen or permanent resident as co-signer. Citibank, America’s largest bank, now offers the CitiAssist Loan Program to our students. Find out more about the Citiassist Loan Program.
