Using Eudora Light for E-mail
Sending E-mail to a Group of People
To send mail to more than one person, just type a comma after a name and type the next name. However, if you regularly send mail to a group of people, you can create a group. Then just send mail to the group and everyone in the group gets the e-mail. Here's how:
To create a group:
- Click Address Book on the toolbar.
- Highlight all the people you want to include in the group. You can press Ctrl (PC) or Command (Mac) to add additional entries.
- From the menu, choose Special > Make Address Book Entry.
- Type a name (called a nickname) for the group. On the Mac, also type a name for the group.
- Click OK (PC). (On the Mac, click Add Details, close the Address Book, and click Save when prompted.)
You can also highlight messages in a mailbox and choose Special > Make Address Book Entry. (Eudora Light adds recipients if you choose outgoing messages and senders if you choose incoming messages.)
Sending e-mail to a group:
Start a new message, open the address book, click the group's nickname, and click To.
