Closing a Spreadsheet

To close a spreadsheet, click its Close box. (On the PC the Close box is at the upper right corner of the spreadsheet or under the Application Close box. If you click the Application Close box at the very top, you close Excel as well as the spreadsheet.) Excel asks you if you want to save your changes, if you made any since the last time you saved.

Exiting Excel

To exit Excel on the PC, click the Close box at the top right corner of your screen. To exit Excel on the Mac, press Command
