Changing the Date and Time

The time usually appears on the menu bar at the top right of your screen.

1. Choose Apple > Control Panels > Date and Time.
2. In the Date & Time dialog box, click the date or time and type a new number or click the arrows.
3. You can also change the Time Zone and set your computer for Daylight Savings Time.
4. You can turn the display of the time on the menu bar on or off.
5. Click the dialog box's close box.

Turning Off Your Computer

1. Close all programs and files.
2. From the menu, choose Special > Shut Down.
