“My favorite subject to teach is the subtle connection between human nature and music. Like Plato, the ancient Vedic rishis regarded music as a tool for balancing individual health and behavior, and held musicians responsible for keeping society functioning in a harmonious way. I enjoy helping students experience for themselves these ancient creative techniques of Maharishi Gandharva Veda for promoting bliss through rhythm, sound and silence.”
