Experience
Dr. Levi has been teaching computer science at Maharishi University of Management since 1989. Prior to this, Dr. Levi worked for Honeywell Systems and Research Center for six years where he was a Senior Principle Research Scientist. Dr. Levi's work at Honeywell involved applications of artificial intelligence and expert systems to human-machine interface problems. Dr. Levi has been a principal or associate investigator on research awards from the Air Force's Wright Research and Development Center, the Office of Naval Research, and the United Nations' Industrial Development Office.
Professional activities and awards
Dr. Levi has been a committee member or reviewer for conferences such as the Eleventh Applications of Artificial Intelligence Conference, the International Conference on Machine Learning, and the International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence. Dr. Levi has been a reviewer for the journals: Heuristics; IEEE Pattern Analysis and Machine Intelligence; IEEE Expert; and IEEE Systems, Man, and Cybernetics. He has also been a grant reviewer for the National Science Foundation and the Air Force Office of Scientific Research. Dr. Levi was an Associate Fellow of the NASA Center of Excellence in Manned Systems, a Doctoral Fellow for the VA Health Services Research and Development Office, and a National Science Foundation Graduate Fellow.
