Policies
The club policies mentioned herewith are meant to set standards that will enforce the safety of the individuals using the boats and also preserve the lives of the boats.
Rules for taking out a boat
- A club member can only take out a boat that he/she has been checked on. You may refer to the club's rating sheet for more details about checking out procedures.
- Every helmsman must ensure that all individuals onboard his/her boat have life-jackets before the boat departs from shore.
- If you are not a registered club member and you want to use one of our boats, you would be required to pay a certain amount of fee, to be determine by the club's executive body. However, the non-member wanting to use the boat must have been certified fit to be in charge of the particular boat, as a prerequisite.
Club membership
- Club memberships expires at the end of every academic year.
- Every club member must renew his/her membership in order to maintain the privileges of a member.
- A registration fee of $15 is required from all members except the club's president; whose registration fee is waived because of the voluntary position he/she undertakes.
