B.A. in Educational Foundations
Overview
A major in Educational Foundations develops an understanding of the fundamentals of education, with an emphasis on innovative curriculum, instruction and school design.
Knowledge of human development, technology, and teaching practices that develop the full potential of the student can be beneficial to many careers.
A major in Educational Foundations can be combined with any other undergraduate major for a double major, or can be the first year of a combined B.A./M.A. program with an emphasis on elementary or secondary education.
Students may also choose to minor in Educational Foundations. Students who earn a B.A. in Educational Foundations may gain a teaching license and a Master's degree in Educational Innovation with an additional year of study at the graduate level.
Like other MUM programs, the B.A. in Educational Foundations provides a thorough training in the principles and practices of Consciousness-Based education.
