Dear Fellow Alumni and Friends,
It is hard to imagine that less than fifteen years ago I was an eager young meditator living in the South of France wondering where my life was headed. I had heard from my friends about Maharishi International University in the U.S. where young people from all over the world enjoyed Consciousness-Based education. It seemed like a dream at the time — to live in an environment where everyone shared the same goal of enlightenment.
However, through great fortune, this dream came true — I was able to attend MIU. I valued every minute of my education and quickly finished my BA (’95), then moved ahead and completed my MBA (’96) and simultaneously a CMA (Certified Management Accountant) degree.
My wife Caterina (Caty) received her BA in SCI (’95) and MA in Professional Writing (’96) from Maharishi University of Management. We have three children who attend Maharishi School and recently built a new home in Fairfield, Iowa, constructed in accord with Maharishi Vedic Architecture.
I love my work as a Financial Manager with Eastgate Energy Services where I manage foundation and trust funds. Literally every day Caty and I count our blessings — we feel very grateful to our founder, Maharishi, for this profound education. My degrees at M.U.M. were the perfect combination of practical hands-on knowledge and Total Knowledge to gain the support of Natural Law, which is essential to anyone’s success. My education gave me the confidence and tools I needed each step of the way in my career.
Caty and I are delighted and honored to be members of the University Sponsors Club at the Gold level. We give a gift each month to the University’s Annual Fund. It is an automatic deduction, no paperwork involved. I encourage everyone to support this extraordinary University and sincerely hope all my fellow alumni will give something back to their alma mater. It gives us a great feeling to know we are helping to make this excellent education available to students both now and in the future.
