Argiro Student Center

Photography

Learning photography in the MUM Media and Communications department can be summarized in two words: “project-based,” which means that you will have a lot of freedom to develop a significant body of work. You can choose a commercial or fine arts direction, or investigate both.

Behind the Camera

You will have access to
Digital single lens reflex cameras (DSLR’s)
Professional strobes and seamless paper
A green-screen studio
Professional lighting equipment
Adobe Master Collection software
Digital and darkroom processing
9-color printer

You will study with award winning instructors, such as Ken West, who specializes in high dynamic range (HDR) landscape photography. Also opportunities for internships in photography are available. Learn while you earn.

Creativity and Consciousness

You will also enjoy the benefits of a supportive, creative, engaging and unique community of students and friends, plus enjoying the benefits of Consciousness-based Education, which means that you can develop your creativity, clarity of mind, energy, and insight while developing your photography portfolio.
