Student
gets praise from employer
Computer Professionals Program student Leonisa Hermogino of the Philippines is working for the Tennessee Valley Authority as part of her curricular practical training and has received many compliments from the company.
Her supervisor recently wrote: “Leonisa continues to be a big asset to our organization. She is working on the 10-Gen project which is a complicated application, yet she is handling it like a pro. She also took over the RADAR applications from a contractor who left, and was able to learn it very quickly and improve it further. She also has a good disposition and is always willing to help and eager to take on new work. We have enjoyed having Leonisa work with us.”
Leonisa says, “I feel very fortunate to be working at the Tennessee Valley Authority—America's largest public power company and one of President Franklin Roosevelt's legacies. This gives me the inspiration to continue to do my best.
“Maharishi University of Management has truly helped me realize my dream. Everybody in the admissions, faculty, and placement office has done a wonderful job. For that, I will always be grateful.”
