Professor is Senior Technical Staff at IBM

Dr. Ali Arsanjani, an Assistant Adjunct Professor of Computer Science with Maharishi University of Management Computer Science Department is also a Senior Technical Staff Member at IBM. He is Chief Architect of the SOA and Web Services Center of Excellence in IBM Global Services and works closely with many major companies around the world as an expert in service-oriented architecture, focusing on Web services based computing architectures based on J2EE. Dr. Arsanjani is a regular writer and presenter at major conferences. Here is one of his recent publications on the developerWorks site and in IBM Systems Journal in the area of Service Oriented Architectures, one of the latest architectural approaches for such large systems: service-oriented modeling and architecture.

According to Dr. Keith Levi, the Computer Science Department Chair, "Dr. Arsanjani plays an important role in keeping our curriculum up-to-date with the latest trends in industry and technology. He has made major contributions to many of our courses since he started teaching here 10 years ago."
