Career Strategies Workshop
The Career Development Center facilitates Ten Strategies for Success to help students and alumni who have been participating in Consciousness-BasedSM education, plan and implement their next career phase in a thorough and organized way.
We offer a two-week course in career strategies for graduating students; a six-day workshop; and individual career development by appointment.
If you would like to experience the unique style of education that is offered at the Maharishi University of Management campus, the six-day workshop is available following selected Visitor's Weekend dates. Please contact rgoodman@mum.edu for more information.

Goals of this Workshop
- Be proactive and competitive by:
- Assessing your strengths
- Designing your own career path
- Learning and using strategies for research on company and industry trends
- Defining and finding the best job openings which utilize your qualifications
- Discover and utilize networking strategies to:
- Expand your knowledge of the hidden job market
- Extend your ability to bring your qualifications to those who can further your career, including employers, colleagues, and clients
- Communicate your strengths to employer/colleagues/clients/funders by:
- Learning to speak about your achievements
- Writing about your qualifications
- Showing how your capabilities create solutions
- Understand the principles and technologies of Maharishi Vedic Science that promote effortless fulfillment of your goals
Throughout this workshop we describe benefits of practice of the Transcendental Meditation® technique and how it enhances career success. Participants in the career strategies workshop will have the opportunity to learn the Transcendental Meditation technique concurrently with the workshop for an additional fee.
