Career Development Center
The University has a dynamic and comprehensive approach to career planning. The Career Development Center, in conjunction with the University faculty in each department, provides students and graduates with the resources, skills, and strategies necessary to successfully design and implement their careers.
Career Development Center Services
- Career advising from first year through graduation in areas of individual assessment, career planning (see next point for primary areas of focus) and internship coordination, as well as assistance with educational choices.
- MGT 346: A 2-credit course in Career Strategies is offered including: career development, networking strategies, interviewing, resumé and cover-letter writing skills, portfolio development and using the Internet for career search.
- Internship opportunities coordinated through the MUM Internship Office and office visits.
