Career Strategies Office
The University has a dynamic approach to career planning. The Career Strategies Office, in conjunction with the University faculty in each department and the Student Success Center, provides students and graduates with the resources, skills, and strategies necessary to successfully design and implement their careers.
Services
- Career advising from first year through graduation in areas of individual assessment, career planning, internship coordination, and placement strategies, as well as assistance with educational choices.
- A 2-credit course in Career Strategies, MGT 346, is offered, including career development, networking strategies, interviewing, résumé and cover-letter writing skills, portfolio development and using the Internet for career search.
