To help you grow in qualities of leadership, the faculty have structured training in specific skills and a style of functioning that are essential for leadership and for success in any area of life. When business and industry leaders are asked what they would like to see developed in college students, they often point to these same qualities and skills.

Communication. You will gain practice in speaking and writing effectively through class exercises in every course, beginning in the first year.

Working well with others, particularly in groups. Frequent group exercises and projects help develop this skill.
