In addition to the general admission requirements for the MBA Accounting program:
- Accounting Professionals Track addresses the needs of established accounting professionals who want to deepen their professional knowledge and experience. We give priority to experienced Oracle and SAP professionals.
- Strong Background Track requires at least 4 accounting courses. No work experience is necessary.
- Fresh Start Track is an MBA for students with no work experience and not much academic background in accounting.
This track requires two or more years of recent full-time work experience in accounting or a related field, and a strong financial accounting academic background (three or more courses).
Students take two years of curricular practical training (CPT) position where MBA skills are applied to real-life situations in the workplace. The entire program is 2.5 years in length.
This program is, at minimum, an 11-month MBA with no curricular practical training. It is well-suited for people who possess a strong academic background in accounting and business, and who want to earn their degree quickly.
MUM prepares you for success as a professional accountant in 11 months to 2 years, depending on your academic background and professional work experience. There is no curricular practical training with this track.
