Andrew Bargerstock earned his C.P.A. as an auditor with a major C.P.A. firm in Pittsburgh, PA. He has worked as an executive with a Fortune 500 company, established two successful businesses, consulted with many companies across the USA. In addition, Andrew has 12 years of teaching experience at graduate and undergraduate levels. He has published numerous articles and spoken at professional conferences. Students enjoy his interactive teaching style and ability to bring personal business experiences into the classroom.

Ron Pleasant has extensive business experience in accounting, payroll management, consulting, and administration. As senior accountant and payroll manager for a Reader’s Digest subsidiary for 11 years, he had responsibility for up to 500 employees across 40 states. As a consultant, he has converted a manual accounting system to a computer-based system and increased sales for an international investment publisher. He also was a director of a health spa, responsible for the daily operations involving a staff of 35 employees.

William Graff has extensive experience in teaching internationally. He has been teaching at the University’s partner institution in China and has previously been director of the Maharishi School of Management in Limuru, Kenya. Professor Graff has consulted with the World Bank on finance and accounting systems for the government of Uganda.


Vicki Alexander Vicki Alexander

Vicki Alexander began her career working as an associate in a large Boston law firm. Her work extended to include research on crime reduction, health and conflict resolution, including a groundbreaking study on reducing collective tensions at the basis of the Middle East conflict. She is now director of the University’s Institute for Research on Higher States of Consciousness and acts as advisor to the Institute for Science, Technology and Public Policy. She also holds the Charles N. Alexander Chair of Psychology established in her husband’s honor.

David Goodman is a board member of the Fairfield Entrepreneurs Association and is a consultant to firms helping them write business plans and raise capital. He is currently involved in several green entrepreneurship projects, including a company that manufactures and promotes ceramic tiles with a photovoltaic overlay that allows buildings to utilize solar energy. His research is involved with how sustainable wealth can be created in accord with natural law.

Prof. Herriott’s research interests include issues of cooperative strategy in business policy. Specific projects include studies of electric utility power pools, cooperative advertising, risk pooling, partial acquisitions, information channels in markets, and the implications of Maharishi Vedic Science for theories of motivation, job design, and management decisions. Among his previously held positions are: Director of Studies, Maharishi School of Management (Nairobi, Kenya); Assistant Professor of Management Sciences, University of Iowa; and Assistant Professor of Management, University of Texas at Austin.


Bruce McCollum Bruce McCollum

Prof. McCollum has taught managerial communications skills, operations management, statistics and introduction to business courses. He developed and taught Management Information Systems. He trains students and businesses to use Microsoft Office and Windows. His Ph.D. dissertation topic was leadership development through self-development.

Prof. West has previously served the University as treasurer and director of the press. He also has been director of on-site administrative planning and faculty development for Rajapark College in Bangkok, Thailand. He introduced Maharishi Vedic Science based educational system to high schools in the Philippines and to to colleges and governmental representatives in Nicaragua.
