Talk by artist John Dilg
The MUM Art Department is having a guest lecture by John Dilg, professor of painting and drawing at the University of Iowa, this Wednesday at 1:15. The talk will be free and open to the public, and held at the MUM Art Building Theater.

John Dilg received a B.F.A. in Painting and Filmmaking from the Rhode Island School of Design. He is the recipient of a Fulbright Grant to India, a National Endowment for the Arts Individual Artist Fellowship, and Residency Fellowships at the Yaddo Foundation and the Ragdale Foundation. Solo exhibitions include Luise Ross Gallery, New York, 2000, 2002, 2007 and Schmidt Contemporary Art, St. Louis, 2004, 2008. Recent group exhibitions include Edward Thorp Gallery, NY, 2010; Art Miami, 2008; Wake Forest University, 2007; Moti Hasson Gallery, NY, 2006; Andrea Rosen Gallery, NY, 2005; Kraushaar Galleries, NY, 2004; Esther Klein Gallery, Philadelphia, 2004; Yaddo Foundation, NY, 2004. Dilg's work has been reviewed in 
Art in AmericaThe New York Times, and The New Art Examiner. His next solo exhibition is scheduled for April-May, 2011, at Luise Ross Gallery in New York.
