Ken Daley, M.Ed., Associate Professor
Professor Daley served for nine years as a sport administrator and consultant for the Province of New Brunswick, Canada. He then joined the faculty of Maharishi University of Management and Maharishi School of the Age of Enlightenment as
Department Head of Physical Education. He has been voted teacher-of-the-year at both schools. Professor Daley has coached gymnastics at the club and university level. His activity as a gymnastics judge eventually led to an international rating in that sport.
Professor Daley’s area of research and publication has been split between sport science and electronic publication. He has presented over thirty times at the state, national or international level in sport science and seven times at the state or national level on electronic publication. He has authored or edited nine books / manuals, authored twenty-two articles, developed four electronic journals/newsletters and developed numerous web sites. He has taught courses on basic computer skills and web development and acted as an industry consultant in web development. He has lead adventure sport trips to 10 continental states as well as Greece, Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and Hawaii. During the last 30 years he has been active in the physical fitness industry both as an educator, administrator and participant. His preferred personal physical activities have varied over the years but at present his sports of choice are rock climbing, mountain biking, and white-water kayaking.

Tania Kalamara, B.A., Lecturer, Personal trainer
Professor Kalamara earned her Bachelors degree in physical education and sports science at Aristotelion University of Thessaloniki in Serres, Greece. She has over 12 years of experience in personal strength training. She has worked in fitness centers throughout Greece. Her specialties are rhythmic gymnastics and gymnastics, track and field, swimming, adapted physical education and Tae-Bo. She also has extensive training and experience in various types of yoga such as Iyengar Yoga, Viniyoga and Ashtanga Yoga. She has also completed many certificates and training in dances from throughout the world; including Modern Dance, Hip-hop, African Dancing and Fusion. Along with this she is trained in traditional Greek dances from many regions throughout Greece. She also conducts fitness assessments for students
and faculty to monitor aerobic capacity, muscular strength, muscular
endurance, flexibility, body composition and blood pressure. Through
this assessment people are able to better understand where they are at,
what they are doing right and what needs to be improved.
