Crash Course in Economic Sustainability for Non-Economists

Date: 6/5/2013Start Time: 10:00 AMEnd Time: 4:00 PMLocation: Sweetwater Luxury Bunkhouse located in Abundance EcoVillage

Coming this summer: Crash Course in Economic Sustainability for Non-Economists -- June 5-9, 2013. Complete information about the course, including on-line registration, is available on the course website: https://sites.google.com/site/crashcoursesustainableecon/home .
The course will be facilitated by John Ikerd and Lonnie Gamble and is sponsored by the Sustainable Living Department at Maharishi University of Management.  The course will be held at Sweetwater Luxury Bunkhouse located in Abundance EcoVillage.  http://www.sweetwaterfairfield.com/

We now have a course schedule posted which indicates the specific topics we plan to address and reflects our commitment to “collaborative learning” and "holistic thinking," through group discussions and interactions with the larger Fairfield community.
Please register as soon as practical, if you plan to attend. A couple of people have already registered, but we need to have at least 10 people registered by May 1 to justify holding our reservation of the classroom/living facility. Please pass this information along to anyone else you think might be interested or might benefit from the course.
We would like for anyone who might be interested to know about the course, even though we feel we can accept no more than 20 participants without diminishing the quality of the learning experience. If the first Crash Course is a success, we quite likely will offer it again in the future to accommodate those who can’t attend this summer.
We hope to see you in Fairfield this summer.

There is also a facebook event for the Crash Course: https://www.facebook.com/events/480500208658211/
