For entrance into the Maharishi Vedic Science M.A. program, applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree in any field. Applicants without a bachelor’s degree may be considered if they can show a bachelor’s equivalent, including significant professional standing in Maharishi Vedic Science and successful performance on an entrance exam.

Teachers of Maharishi’s Transcendental Meditation program who have two years or more of college education may receive academic credit for their teacher training course and teaching activities.

Students in the standard 11-month (Fall, Spring and Summer) program are instructed in the Transcendental Meditation technique during their first course if they haven’t already learned. We also recommend that all Maharishi Vedic Science students learn the TM-Sidhi program.

Students entering the part-time, 3-year intern program must already practice both the Transcendental Meditation and TM-Sidhi programs for at least one year.

For students whose first language is not English, a TOEFL score of 575 is required for entrance into this program.
